Treasured Scrapbooking More July GDT Projects
I had so much fun working with the July kit from Treasured Scrapbooking. It really is an awesome kit, I love the natural colors and the embellies are perfect. So I wanted to share the rest of my July GDT reveal with everyone.

And this last is an altered frame. I picked up these frames at Target years ago on clearance for $1. I have a few of them, so I figured it was a good time to use one!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Jeff & Grayson. They enjoy every minute of each other, it is so much fun to watch them. And I love the quote... so I had to use it on the page. I know it doesn't exactly match the picture, but it speaks to me as much as the picture does. So that's why I opted for it.
A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.

Scrapbook Chicks July Projects
It's been a crazy week here between doctors and dogs and just all around things to do! However, I hope to be back to my regular version of crazy & chaos this week! :) I've been diligently working on cleaning up our house. I have purged more junk - really, where does this stuff come from? But, I'm happy that now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel (more like a glimmer, but you get it). There hasn't been much scrapping here this week, but I did want to take a moment and share my July projects from Scrapbook Chicks. So here you go... enjoy!
I got to work with the Walk in the Park kit this month! It's totally cute with the new Echo Park Paper and all the fun bright colors. :) I love that they work for boys and girls - that's the best part! The papers are great and you get some stickers and added embellies in the kit from Two Chicks Designs. The kit really is fun and works great for summer pics!

TS Newsletter Projects (working with sketches)
As a GDT at Treasured Scrapbooking this month I had the pleasure of helping write an article for the newsletter. It's a fab newsletter and filled with inspiration, ideas, tips and just great scrappy knowledge. If you haven't signed up, you should - you can do it on the very bottom of the home page.
Anyway, I decided to do an article about working with sketches and the various ways you can take a sketch and make it your own. I grabbed 3 sketches from the Design Team Sketches folder in the gallery (another great place to visit for inspiration). So I wanted to share what I did.
Here's the first one, a digital page using Momenta freebies. Created from Elizabeth's January sketch.

This next one was inspired by Laurajean's September 09 sketch. It's another digital layout, one with elements I created on the fly to match my photo.

This last one is from Julie's October 09 sketch. It pretty much stayed true to form, but I used ribbons instead of journaling strips. It's a paper layout, if you can't tell. ;)
So head on over to TS and sign up for the newsletter. Check out the sketch gallery for ideas next time you are looking for somewhere to start!

Treasured Scrapbooking July GDT Reveal #1
Happy July 15th! I'm revealing one of my projects using the July Treasured Scrapbooking kit today. More coming in the days ahead, but today is just one. The July Kit (Voyage of Wonder) is awesome. I love the colors (teal & orange are fun together) and the amount you get is fabulous. Not to mention there are some fun bling & shimmery pieces in there!
Grungy pages seem to be my current mood, so I distressed the paper and pictures here. Of course it's a picture of Grayson (you didn't expect different, did you?) and I'm really happy with how the page turned out.

Hope you enjoyed the page, and be sure to stop by Treasured Scrapbooking to pick up the July Kit and my challenge (there's a RAK involved).

I am off my rocker!
I am officially off my rocker. There's no turning back now (poor jeff). I want crazy things, have crazy dreams and do crazy stupid stuff.
for example...
A couple weeks ago I almost drove through the garage door. Why you ask? Because I parked my car in first gear and gunned it (thinking it was in reverse like I always leave it when I get out) to get up my hill of a driveway. The garage door was spared, but I spent the majority of the day freaking out over it.
Last week I had a fleeting moment of wanting to dip cheez-its in ranch dressing. I resisted, and now thinking about it makes my stomach flutter.
Yesterday after leaving the store, I had to pull over just to make sure I got the diapers out of the cart.
I always thought pregnancy brain was a myth, but after having lived through it (and currently living through it again) I've decided it's not. Whatever the case or cause, at least I'm aware of my stupidity. So why not scrap it, right? Of course! So here's my page...

Our Little MVP
Wow, it's Tuesday already - the weekend went so fast, it's kinda sad. If you haven't had a chance, check out my blog post on the Momenta blog for yesterday. I've already shared the layout, but there are some other ideas that I shared there to help you create a 'grunge' effect on your pages.
Anyway, today I'm sharing a digital page I created quickly last night (since I hadn't done anything productive with my Monday). I used the the Game On Collection from Momenta. It's a set of freebie elements and I thought they were perfect for these pics since he had his little football outfit on! This page went super quick and I was thrilled that all I had to do was create & add papers. Gotta love it when things are easy. :)

Hope you enjoyed - and if you are into digital or just want to try it out. Definitely check out some of the digitals available on the Momenta site!
Have a fabulous Tuesday!!

Dirty Scraps Challenge 13
Today is the release of challenge 13 at Dirty Scraps! It is to scrap something you love/hate about yourself. Okay, so my topic is a bit shallow as I scrapped about how I hate my creeping in gray hairs (woohoo for over 30). But seriously, did you want me to scrap about the issues with my pregnant bod? Nobody wants to see that rant!
So here is my page. It's a digital done with my Spring Forward kit, which I do believe is my standing favorite these days. I used one of the quick pages, then spruced it up with some of the other papers available in the kit.

I was excited to be asked for a GDT spot at Treasured Scrapbooking this month. The July kit is absolutely fabulous and I'll be sharing my reveals in a few days. In the meantime I wanted to share my challenge & challenge page with you!

Quick & Easy Cupcake Card
This card is so quick and easy to make. It's great if you only have a few moments to throw something together (not that we ever forget stuff until last minute). You can even leave the stickles off if you don't have the extra time to wait for it to dry.
I love this textured cardstock from Momenta - it's great that it is double sided with two different shades. You can easily create a color coordinating project without having to search through your papers to find something that 'matches'.
Supplies Used:
Momenta Textured Cardstock (PA-0659)
Momenta Super Paper Pad (PA-1992)
Imaginisce Cupcake Stamp
Sakura Pens
Stickles
