Is it really? I mean come on... I turned my calendar this morning, suddenly realizing that there is only 1 day left in May! I'm amazed at how fast time flies the older you get. Seems like it was only a couple years ago I graduated from high school. Yikes!!
Today I am going to pick up my mother and we are gonna hit the mall. I have to buy some new shoes for our upcoming vacation and my summer job. Unfortunately, I can't stick to my traditional flip flop routine, and sadly I only own 1 other pair of real shoes and I just can't wear them. My poor Mom needs some time away from my father too, who is convinced that he is 'withering away into nothing' as he put it last night. I really hate what he is going through right now.

3 Things I like about ME are
* I love my green eyes - they are truly expressive!
* I am highly loyal to whatever I choose
* I am very outgoing, fun and lovable and think I have a great personality!
3 Things I don't like about ME.. or things I could do without
* My clumsiness. If it's to be knocked over, I will step up to the plate for ya!
* My health! I don't know why God gave me the plague, but I'm sure I am to learn something from it. I have Crohn's, Diabetes & Thyroid Disease. Not to mention allergies and all the other things most people have. The good thing is, my mother is a huge support for me since she has gone through most of the feelings with her Lupus. And, as I continually try to remind myself... it could be much worse.
* I have chunky hands!! My knuckles are huge and with the allergies lately they have been horribly swollen...

What a great way to look at things. I always forget that the grass is NOT always greener on the other side! Thanks for reminding me to be thankful everyday for what I have.
O.k....I had to make sure it wasn't me that posted earlier! Must be 2 Staceys that read your blog! I hope you had fun shopping! I just bought a new pair of shoes Friday and broke them in over the work weekend! I also can't believe the month is over! What happened to May???--ksuscrapper

Oh you sweet girl- I hope things look up for you soon. I followed your blog over from Scrapperie and I just wanted you to know I lost my grandmother to Lupus when she was WAY too young. I can completely sympathize. If you ever need anything, please know I am always available.
