I love sketches, and this blog has some awesome ones! I've just found it, so I haven't had a chance to try any of the sketches yet. But, I bet money (if the boy gives me some scrappin' time) that will change tomorrow!!

PageMaps Blog Scrapdango Sketch Contest

Scrapdango & PageMaps have a contest up on the PageMaps Blog. I am a sucker for Becky's sketches - and of course when I saw this, it was no different. This sketch just spoke to me... Somehow, I just knew it would work perfectly with the January kit I picked up from Citrus Tree Studio.

Now, with all that out of the way, I'm super excited to share it... Everything on the page (except the bling & mini-alpha stickers) is from the kit - it's a collection of 7gypsies, prima, bazzill & making memories.

It was a plus that my sewing machine still works after my son dropped it (who would have thought he could pick it up and get it out of the case to begin with). But, thats another story...

So here you go, my pitiful puppy sofee. She gets all excited to ride, but then when she gets in the car she is scared to death. Doesn't she just look miserable?! Poor thing!

Ready Set Create

I have forgotten to share some of the wonderful projects I've been creating for the Ready-Set-Create Ezine - oopsie! With the apology out of the way, here are some of what I've been busy with. We have gotten awesome sponsors over the last few issues, including soft flex, fancy pants, tons of awesome digi designers and some super cool etsy stores.

Two Chicks February Projects

I got my first box from Two Chicks Designs last week. I opened it up and was super excited about the goodies I found in there. Not only was there an awesome February Kit to work with, but there was also a super cool collection of Chick'N Stuff!!! These ladies rock when it comes to assembling a kit. There were so many awesome papers and embellies in there, the ideas just started spinning around in my head!
So, I wanted to jump on here and share my first three projects with you. And I assure you, there will be more because I have a ton of product left over to work with!

Dirty Scraps *broken*

The newest challenge is up at Dirty Scraps and the keyword is *broken*. I have an extremely broken relationship with my body - I am not the healthiest person in the world, so I chose to do a page about that!

Here is my journaling:

My body & I disagree – our relationship is seriously broken. I feel great, but my body doesn’t think so. I have been diagnosed with Crohn’s, migraines, vaso vagal issues, etc. I have had more surgeries than most people my age. I don’t understand b/c honestly I feel healthy. I wish I knew my family medical history, but no such luck. :( I’ll just keep plugging along in hopes of one day being miraculously ‘healed’.

I've been so busy that I have forgotten to come and post my good news shares!

First, I am working with Cristal on the Dirty Scraps team. This challenge blog is brand new and full of fun challenges to help you scrap outside of the realm. I mean, we all don't have gorgeous kids who smile all the time, do we?!

I know I've had my share of struggles and I'm happy to say that I wouldn't be where I am today without them. They have made me who I am, so I am ok documenting them in my layouts. So if you haven't, check these challenges out on the Dirty Scraps Blog. They are definitely thought provoking!!

With my next news, I decided to try for the Two Chicks Designs Team - and lucky me, I made it! This is a new company - so be sure to check out their site. They have clothes, embellies and kits!
