Ever-Expanding Family

Of course, the word puppy and my heart skips a beat... can I refuse? No way! Look at this doll's face... she is such a sweetheart! Jeff found a post at work about them and we called this evening. She was filthy when we got her, but after some baby shampoo, scissors and hair dryer (apparently you are supposed to blow dry this breed) she looks like a little white puff ball! Course, she won't stay a 'little' puff ball for long - female Great Pyrenees average 80-110 lbs.

Onyx took to her well (or should I say ignored) and Sofee didn't seem to know what to think about her. But I'm sure that will all change soon enough! I was sad to hear that her litter-mates had all 'run-off' as the kid we got her from put it. She and one other female were the only ones left. I hope somebody found them and either keeps them or takes them to the animal shelter. They are adorable and will likely get adopted (I would hope). So now... gotta pick a name. Man... that's happening a lot lately!

Rotund

Why is it I feel like this should be my new descriptive word? Man, I feel huge! I have gained a bit more weight, but I'm trying not to stress over it! We worked on the baby's room again today. I feel bad that I can't really help with the removal of wallpaper, but Jeff says I can't climb the ladder. Considering I am likely to fall off of it when I'm not pregnant, it's prolly a good idea I stay on the ground. He is almost done with the wallpaper however and that just leaves painting and the floor! We are picking up the crib and changing table from my parent's house tomorrow, so I guess we really need to get on it or we won't have anywhere to put them!!

I'm a Chef!!

Well, it's official now - I get to call myself a Rusty Pickle Chef!! I can't wait to play so I can share some Rusty Pickle goodness with you soon!

So I found these gently used baby goodies for sale in my area and decided to check them out. They are in great condition and I just had to snatch them up! I was so super psyched (which quickly passed when I found a sick dog). I think it's awesome... I got all these goodies for around $150! Now... if I can get the room done so I have somewhere to put them all!

2008 - My year of challenges!

I am going to try VERY hard to do scrappy challenges this year. I'm starting out good - I started with the Becky Fleck sketch posted at caardvarks. I just love pagemaps!
