Tag!
Thanks Alecia for tagging me!! It was cool reading a bit more about you (you know I'm a huge fan). So here's everybody's chance to know a little more about me!
1. Ten Years Ago: I was 21 (does that say it all). I worked at the hospital & the bar. I partied hard when I could and had few cares in the world. I spent too much money, drove a girly probe and lived on a whim!
2. 5 things on today (tomorrow's ) to do list: diapers, bottles, laundry, house cleaning & calling principals - maybe even giving the dogs a bath if I feel extra spunky, which is seriously doubtful!
3. Snacks I enjoy: pretzels (especially with cream cheese), tostitos & salsa, oranges and peanut crunch Nature Valley granola bars!
4. Places I've lived: Bloomfield, NY; Germanton, NC; Walkertown, NC; Winston-Salem, NC and North Wilkesboro, NC. I know there's more, but I can't remember.
5. 4 people I've tagged: Ginger, Wendi, Erin & Michelle!

4th of July Weekend!
We had a great weekend, however it was busy. I don't plan on traveling again with 2 adults, a baby and three dogs in the car anytime soon. I'm sure we were a sight going down the road. The dogs love to go to my Mom & Dad's house though - and they love having them there, so its all good - and we did have a great time. Saturday we had a cook-out at my parents house and then went to see the fireworks at their neighbors house. Grayson loved watching the fireworks until he fell asleep. It was fun to watch him looking at the bright colors in the sky! Jeff played with the camera, and probably my favorite picture of the weekend was him playing with the remote while he was in the shot.
I'm glad to be back home though, I got my scrap table cleaned off (whoooo... I finished that mini-book that took me over a week to get done) and I'm ready to get down to business tomorrow! I should get to scrap a ton because Ginger will be out of town (I'll miss you, but good luck Amber) and I won't have her to talk to.
Here's a small slide show of our pictures, but feel free to check out my 4th of July gallery if you want to see a few more!

Wow - it's been almost a month!
I'm absolutely shameful! I haven't blogged in almost a month. Of course, in my defense June was a kinda crazy month. Our dryer died, then I got sick, then Grayson got sick, Grayson got his shots and of course... I feel like I have been running non-stop to the doctor! On a good note, I got to have lunch with Ginger twice in one month! Woot!!
Anyway - it's July (whoa, where is the time going?) and so the monthly responsibilities start all over again. I plan on updating Grayson's blog today too, since we went to the doctor yesterday - we have new stats on him!
I just love this time of year though - especially right around the 4th of July. All the cookouts and fun things going on. This year we are having a cookout at my parents and then going to their neighbors house to watch the extravagant fireworks display they put on. That's when ya gotta love livin' in the country - when the rednecks come out and put on their own fireworks! Actually, we have been before and it's a very nice setup they have, so I am rather excited. I just hope Grayson doesn't get disturbed. I hope I can get some good pictures too, but we'll see how that goes.
So today is Paper Trunk's first birthday - how cool is that?! They are doing some massive challenges on their blog - you should check it out!
