I can't believe it's almost New Year. What happened to 2007? I've had big plans while I was out of school for the winter break, and they have all gone by the wayside. I swear I am actually going to work tomorrow! We went today and picked out the paint for the baby's room - yellow not green. After thinking about it, I think green walls and green decor might be a bit much. I've started cleaning the room out, but there is still a ton more to do - which is what I will be working on tomorrow! Well, it's almost the 30th so I can feasibly wish everyone a Happy New Year. Stay safe and have a wonderful holiday! See you in 2008!

The Name Game!!
I made this to hang over the closet in the baby's room. It's the first thing I've made for the baby - and I think it turned out really cute! I was going to paint the nursery green, but now I think I've changed my mind to yellow. Man... I hate making decisions like this!We have started talking about names... we have the middle name set, but the first name is a bit of a struggle. I find one I like and then I turn myself off to it. I sure hope there isn't 4 more months of that!!
On a surprise note, the parents of my classroom threw me a shower. It was such a sweet thing for them to do! We got tons of cute outfits, some much needed diapers and lots of other fun things. I might lay the goodies out tomorrow and snap a few pics!

Caardvarks Challenge *RickRack*
Well, I figured the best way to get back into scrapping was to find some challenges. Of course, a new one posted yesterday at Caardvarks - using rick rack! So here is a card I made for it!
Sweet, Sweet Mondays
Wow... can you just say hectic about yesterday? I am glad it's over with! The good news... my portfolio was graded and I stopped by campus to check it out. The rubric for our grade is like 5 pages, I personally think very detailed... lucky me... I got perfect scores from both graders!!
Now... about that RAK! Yes, yes... i'm late. So sorry! Congrats to Jessica! Please email me (kelzpop@gmail.com) your addy so I can get a RAK out to you!!

Ultrasound Readings!
Welp, there is no pink in my future!
We are having a boy, and he had no problem showing us. Although I still have no clue how they can tell!! I'll be scanning in the new ultrasound pictures tomorrow and I'll pick a lucky winner for the RAK then as well!

Baby Guesses - RAK
Since tomorrow is our ultrasound, I'm going to let you guys pick if you think we are having a boy or a girl!
To give you some background, I am adopted so I have no family history. Jeff however comes from a long line of boys. There isn't a girl on his side of the family. Jeff's mother wants a girl, my mother wants a girl. Jeff wants a boy (of course) and I have no clue what my father hopes for... other than for me to grow up and stop making 'dad requests'.
I found a website that went through all these old wives tales... so I decided to take the quiz. It was a 50% chance we are having a girl and a 50% chance we are having a boy. Great odds, huh?!
So, post a comment with the thoughts of whether we are having a boy or a girl and I will pick one lucky person to receive a RAK!

Mark of the Half!
Well, I will be 20 weeks tomorrow. Can you believe it? I do wonder what happens with time as we get older. Anyway - just wanted to share that I am half-way through the pregnancy! Jeff and I haven't even started on the baby's room, with the exception of me moving a bookshelf to the living room. We did pick up flooring last weekend and I think we (or should I say *I*) have picked out the color for the walls.
Tomorrow is our ultrasound and if baby Rufus cooperates, we will find out if Rufus is a boy or a girl!
I decided to stop by and get my hair cut today on the way home. It was long and scraggly and I'm beginning to get frustrated with how I look. I got about 5 inches cut off, so maybe I can do something with it and it will stay cute!
