I landed the job!!

Well, color me pretty! I'm going to be working in the Wilkes County School System! Get ready 4th grade, here I come!! So the job is an hour away, but that means we get to move! Which also means Jeff won't be driving so far to work and back everyday! I'm so excited. I think the change will be great!!

I'm beat! I feel like I've been run over by a truck!
I did get to crop this weekend with the cyber crop at Treasured Scrapbooking! That was loads of fun and I got a couple cool lo's done! I've also started working on my Nascar Signs for the apple festival! I'm surprised I'm not procrastinating on that!!

Jeff and his brother went on an overnight ride this weekend, so the house has been awfully quiet! I'll be happy when he is home this evening!!

I hope to work on another digital kit this week!! Right now, I'm off to tidy up the rest of the house and then get back to scrapping!!

Photography Challenge

I thought I would participate in this week's Photography Challenge on Scrapbooking Swede - take a picture depicting travel. So here's my take on it. We always travel in my car (when we go anywhere). I usually don't need my passport (I debated throwing it in the picture anyway, but decided I didn't want to dig it out). So here are my lonely car keys and the key to our house. The collection of pennies was started by my mother. She found one and I stuck it on my keychain. Since then, I have been given a few more by mom, a few by my Aunt Linda D and picked up a few myself.

~ Returned to Work ~

Well, I returned to the school system today. Wow! That's all I can say. My tailbone is still bothering me, but it's much improved.

I've started making goodies for the Apple Festival ... but it's coming along slowly. Hopefully I can get a few more things turned out this week.

My quest to cut down on the caffeine is in place, although I'm not sure I feel any better for it yet. Hopefully soon though!

Kit Sneak Peak :)

Well, I've got the kit ready to go, but I'm not sure when I'm gonna be set up on the website. Hopefully in the next couple days! Here's a sneak of what's coming up though!

Doodling is questionable!

Doodling is so NOT my forte! I did this lo for a board "lift up" challenge. I don't doodle and this is my first real attempt at it. I'm still seriously debating the quality of my doodles, but hey, at least I tried it! Boy... does that hurt your hands! Hats off to you scrappers who can doodle!

What to do?!

Welp, I'm going to be selling digital kits. I'm excited ... but now I can't decide if I want to scrap or create goodies! EEEEEKK!! What a rough decision, eh?! Actually... I think I'm gonna roll out a few pages for various contests and then I'm gonna work on kits this evening. Oh, and I gotta get rockin' on the stuff for the craft fair!

And I go back to work on Tuesday ... so I am doing absolutely nothing meaningful this weekend.

Finally...

I finally finished my technology portfolio and turned it in. I got the stuff for my other class turned in too. That means I am out of grad school until the end of the month! Yippee!!!
Course, I go back to work next week... but that's not so bad. At least I won't have assignments looming down at me when I get home. I get to scrap...
I think Jeff & I got everything arranged yesterday so I don't have to move much when I'm scrapping. So I'm off to do that now!

Oh yeah, and I made the first cut in the Treasured Hunt. How super cool! I've made my 2nd layout, but I don't like it for this contest. So I'm off to do another one!

Apple Festival Update

Jeff & I went to lunch today before he departed for work and we were talking about the apple festival. We decided that if I didn't hear something soon, I would have to back down on it because I just wouldn't have the time to make stuff. So I logged in to check my status when I got home and woot!!! I got a booth! I have no clue which booth and I have so many ideas and questions running around in my head. So I think I'll go make myself some hot tea and open up a notebook to start jotting stuff down!

On a side note, I went to the consignment shop today too! Lots of goodies had been snatched up, so I'm super excited! Although I turned around and spent the money at Joann's, LOL!
