Tubing & Camping

Well, we went tubing and camping this weekend. The water was warm and the tubing was nice this year, minus me slamming my hiney on a big rock (it's still hurting and putting a damper on my scrapping capabilities). Shame on me, I only took pics with the disposable camera, but I hope to get them developed in the next couple days and get some of them scrapped! I did have a great time, although, I have to say I'm looking forward to sleeping in my bed tonight!

Flower - digi lo

Jeff was playing around with my new camera and took this gorgeous picture of my hosta. I decided to play around with it last week and make this digital layout. I thought the quote was gorgeous for this picture too... Kudos to hubby for an awesome picture!!

why, oh why?!

Why does real life have to interfere with my scrapping?!
I got a new printer and a new camera ... but no, I have to work on my technology portfolio! grrrrrr!!! Oh well! I'm determined to play with my new goodies today though!! So off I go to finish up work...

Layouts for Resale

Here are some other lo's I've made to take to the consignment shop!

Crohn's & Me

I did this lo because I thought it would be therapeautic, but I haven't decided if it worked or not!!

Summer School ...

So I had to go observe a summer enrichment program this morning for my "integrating fine arts" class. I had fun seeing the craft projects the kids had been doing. I even got to see some stamping project the older elementary kids had done. It was great!

I wish I had pictures, but they had stamped tote bags, cards and all kinds of fun stuff!

Brushy Mountain Apple Festival

Well, I'm definitely a country girl at heart (even though I was born a yank)! :)

I have applied to have a booth at the
Brushy Mountain Apple Festival in October! Now I'm just waiting to see if I actually am lucky enough to get a spot! I think I will give them a call on Monday. I got some of the best pictures last year, I hope I get to do it this year!

Consignment Shop Gig!

I was lucky enough in May to be put in touch with a delightful lady who runs an arts & crafts consignment shop in Walnut Cove, NC. Kudos to my father for picking up on this!! Anyway, it took me awhile to get stuff up and running, but it seems to be doing well now. The layouts and mini-albums aren't selling as I had hoped, but the altered stuff gets snatched up in a heartbeat!

Here are a couple of the things I have taken over...
